Writing and Talking, is there a real difference?

I read about an interesting post by Andrew Sparrow. The author quotes,

Some people are writers. Some people are talkers

I believe this statement is very true. Some people are at the best only when they are with voice while others are good enough with writing itself.
I personally think I’m a good writer rather than being good talker. But this is not proven all time. Sometimes I’m good at talking with the group I know rather than writing. I keep fluctuating on what I’m that makes the difference.

What is your opinion about the same?

  1. Well, I haven’t heard you (in the literal sense of the word)! But, my gut feeling is that you’d be a good talker too…

as for being a good talker with your friends, well, i know what’s that like…. πŸ™‚

  2. sometimes gut feelings goes wrong:-) But I’m not guaranteeing that will happen in this case πŸ˜› Lets see if your gut feeling change after you talk over πŸ™‚

  3. Talker/writer??? Wait let me try to remember the last time u spoke or wrote…
May be u could call urself an energy reservoir(for the fact that u always keep a count on the no. of words u speak πŸ™‚ ) or something like that…
And as for being a writer, the same theory applies. πŸ™‚

  4. Yup.. that might be the correct term “energy reservoir” that means I had to preserve that for some useful purpose πŸ™‚

I know why you judged like that.. and you will judge the same with me when it comes to you πŸ™‚ gotcha? ttyl on phone..!!

  5. Trying to prove that u r a good writer huh? The entire content of ur reply could be summarized into one single word.
    U know wat… πŸ™‚ very refined way of writing… πŸ™‚

  6. Hey.. now go back to your previous comment… you got that.. I used to have everything in a word thats why I speak less πŸ˜‰ Now sometimes I have to write long since some people are “not good listeners or good readers
