hi all,
I digged up for storing unlimited sms on the w810i, i found out that there is no easy way yet discovered to expand the sms storage. only way is to flash out the w810i firmware and get another ,, i forgot it is shayd w800 firmware ,,, on your w810i and then get into the files of your handset and change the directory structure for sms and make other changes also and then get out of the file explorer and then again flash the firmware and put your w810i firmware, all this process is risky on one side and u loose the warranty also by rewriting it.
I am looking for the software for w810i, which can edit the dir. Benedict herold, do u have any updates ?

hello,when i phone out on my w800i the person on the other end can't hear me,so i'm presuming i need a new microphone.i know how to open the phones up and fit lcd screens and speakers and so on,but i am not sure how to take the microphone out and fit a new one in.is there any soldering involved or is it straight forward?regards,steve golding.

Have you tried to scan your phone and you memory card from the computer?

I mean, plug the phone to the computer and scan it with your favorite antivirus..

really liked da tricks n da forum as a whole.. i got this sony ericsson w810i, n unfortunately i put its' memory card into a computer which had viruses. I put in the memory card bak into da fone only realizing dat i could hav passed on da virus into the fone.. coz ther are items such as "desktop" which cannot be deleted!
What exactly am i supposed to do now? i strongly suspect it might hav da virus transferred. wat do i do?? plz lemme know! thanx.

Hi. I'm using an 4Gb card on W800i. The phone boot makes a lot delayed. About 1 minute.But it works amazing, no phone Lags, no Walkman problems. The "Tracks" option on the Walkman Player delays little if you have more than 200 tracs (as me).
