I use both Notepad++ and PN.

I find Notepad ++ interface to be more refined on the whole. But PN comes bundled with WinAVR and had a menu option for loading HEX files into micros.

I have been using Programmers Notepad for a whil now. I find it great for getting into the xml from blogger templates.

Sumesh – It is more or less similar to Notepad++. But lot of people here seems to prefer Notepad++. My personal favorite is Programmer’s Notepad though

Mayank – Metapad is a great find; I fear of falling in love EditPlus is a nice tool but not FREE BTW, I have tried EditPad sometime back it is a great tool but again not FREE

@ Bush : I’ve used Textpad and it was good

@ Ben : EditPlus is also a nice and powerful editor. However, I’ve fallen in love with MetaPad, it doesn’t have those powerful features as Programmer’s notepad but still it is much better than notepad.
